Service 6 will be on diversion

⚠️ Service Update

Service 6 will be on diversion omitting James Hall Distribution Centre due to service delays caused by ongoing roadworks at Redscar.

Once the roadworks are complete the service will resume normal route.

The diversion starts Monday 26th October 26 In the meantime, customers can board and alight at the nearest stops located on Longridge Rd.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and patience.

Essential maintenance at the Preston Portway Park and Ride site

🚧 Attention, travelers! On Friday, 9th October, we're carrying out some essential maintenance at the Preston Portway Park and Ride site to tackle those pesky potholes.

🚌 Please note, no buses will stop here on that day. Instead, catch your ride at the next stop on Hartington Road.

🌟 Don't worry—this is just for one day! We'll be back on track, with services resuming at the Park & Ride on Saturday, 10th October.

Longsands Lane

Longsands Lane, Fulwood

Between 08:00 and 18:00 (daily) from Friday, 17^th April 2026 

Longsands Lane will be closed to allow Surface Dressing works to be carried out. As these works are weather dependent and work dates may vary, we are unable to provide further work dates at this stage

Signs will be displayed on the road prior to works commencing

During the works, Service 48 will divert onto Andertons Way and turn round at the roundabout to resume route

Return Journey, Return Route  

Bus stops on Longsands Way will not be served Customers can catch the bus at the temporary bus stop at Andertons Way (opp Anderton Arms)
