It is a Bank Holiday Monday on the 31st August 2026, our timetables on the below services will run a Sunday service, This timetable though is our new Sunday timetable and not our current timetables.

Road Closure

1^st September 2026 to 2^nd September 2026

Plungington Road will be closed daily from 9:30am to 3pm on 1^st and 2^nd September 2026 between 194 Plungington Rd and junction of Trafford St.

The is to facilitate telecom pole maintenance

Sandy Lane Cottam

Road Closure

From 08:00 on Monday, 20^th July 2026 to 17:00 on Friday, 4^th September 2026; or, until completion of the works within this period

 Cottam, Sandy Lane will be closed to allow for utility works to take place 

During the closure, Service 43 is diverting by continuing along Hoyles Lane, Tag Lane, Tabley Lane then onto William Young Way to resume route

Reverse Journey, Reverse Route

Bus stops on Sandy Lane and William Young Way (adj to Sandy Lane) will not be served 

Customers are advised to catch the bus on Hoyles Lane

Longsands Lane

Longsands Lane, Fulwood

Between 08:00 and 18:00 (daily) from Friday, 17^th April 2026 

Longsands Lane will be closed to allow Surface Dressing works to be carried out. As these works are weather dependent and work dates may vary, we are unable to provide further work dates at this stage

Signs will be displayed on the road prior to works commencing

During the works, Service 48 will divert onto Andertons Way and turn round at the roundabout to resume route

Return Journey, Return Route  

Bus stops on Longsands Way will not be served Customers can catch the bus at the temporary bus stop at Andertons Way (opp Anderton Arms)
