From 08:00 on Monday, 20^th July 2026 to 17:00 on Friday, 4^th September 2026; or, until completion of the works within this period

 Cottam, Sandy Lane will be closed to allow for utility works to take place 

During the closure, Service 43 is diverting by continuing along Hoyles Lane, Tag Lane, Tabley Lane then onto William Young Way to resume route

Reverse Journey, Reverse Route

Bus stops on Sandy Lane and William Young Way (adj to Sandy Lane) will not be served 

Customers are advised to catch the bus on Hoyles Lane

Lightfoot Lane Fulwood

Road Closure 

From 07:00 on Monday, 20^th July 2026 to 18:00 on Sunday, 26^th July 2026; or, until completion of the works within this period

 Fulwood, Lightfoot Lane will be closed to allow for essential utility works to be carried out  During the closure, Service 43 from Royal Preston Hospital will divert from Sharoe Green Lane via Black Bull Lane, Cadley Causeway, Woodplumpton Road, Tag Lane, Tom Benson Way, then onto Aldeburgh Drive to resume route

 Reverse Journey, Reverse Route Due to the diversion route, there will be slight delays

 Bus stops on Lightfoot Lane, Wychnor and Garstang Road will not be served

 Customers are advised to catch the bus at Black Bull Lane and Aldburgh Drive

Tulketh Brow

Road Closed

Tulketh Brow, Preston

Daily from 0900 hours until 1500 hours on Wednesday 1st July 2026 until Thursday 9th July 2026

Tulketh Brow, Preston from its junction with Tom Benson Way to its junction with Blackpool Road will be closed for surface dressing

We will be diverting via Blackpool Road – Garstang Road – Moor Lane – Fylde Street – Fylde Road – Tulketh Brow. reverse for return

Longsands Lane

Longsands Lane, Fulwood

Between 08:00 and 18:00 (daily) from Friday, 17^th April 2026 

Longsands Lane will be closed to allow Surface Dressing works to be carried out. As these works are weather dependent and work dates may vary, we are unable to provide further work dates at this stage

Signs will be displayed on the road prior to works commencing

During the works, Service 48 will divert onto Andertons Way and turn round at the roundabout to resume route

Return Journey, Return Route  

Bus stops on Longsands Way will not be served Customers can catch the bus at the temporary bus stop at Andertons Way (opp Anderton Arms)
