St George's Road

Road Closure

Between 08:00 on Monday, 2nd February 2026 to 17:00 on Friday, 6th February 2026; or, until completion of the works within this period

 

Preston, St George's Road will be closed for essential utility works to be carried out

 

During the works, Service 48 will proceed along St George's Road, then divert onto Deepdale Road, Ribbleton Lane, then onto Ringway to resume route to Preston Bus Station

 

Reverse Journey, Reverse Route

 

Bus stops on the section of St George's Road between St Paul's Road and Deepdale Road, St Paul's Road and North Road will not be served

 

Customers are advised to catch the bus on Deepdale Road
