Rotala Expands Fleet with Seven New ADL Enviro200 Buses, Enhancing Sustainable Travel in Preston.

Rotala is delighted to announce the addition of seven brand-new 75-plate Alexander Dennis Enviro200 buses to our Preston Bus fleet. Delivered during September 2025, these state-of-the-art vehicles mark another significant milestone in our commitment to providing cleaner, greener, and more efficient public transport for the Preston community.

Each of the new Enviro200s is equipped with Alexander Dennis’s advanced SmartPack efficiency technology, designed to dramatically reduce energy consumption and emissions. This investment underscores our dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility while continuing to improve the quality and reliability of our services across a range of local routes.

To celebrate the arrival of the new buses, we were joined at our Preston depot by Simon Wood, Regional Sales Manager at Alexander Dennis, alongside members of our leadership team — Matt Rawlinson, Managing Director; Dave Wright, Operations Manager; and Jack Asquith, Engineering Manager — for the official launch.

Speaking at the event, Matt Rawlinson, Managing Director of Preston Bus, shared his excitement:
“I’m delighted to welcome seven more brand-new 75-plate Enviro200 buses to our fleet. Over the last couple of years, we’ve made substantial investments to modernise our fleet and our depot, these latest additions represent another step forward. Not only do they enhance reliability and performance, but they also contribute to a more comfortable and enjoyable journey experience for our passengers.”

Simon Wood Regional Sales Manager at Alexander Dennis quoted,
“I am delighted to once again be supplying 7 new buses to Preston Bus, part of the Rotala Group and to continue the relationship we have built. Our Enviro200s will offer Preston Bus the versatile vehicles they desire to allow for operational flexibility across their network.”

The introduction of these new vehicles reflects Rotala’s ongoing strategy to invest in cleaner technology, improve passenger comfort, and deliver high-quality transport solutions for the communities we serve. We’re excited to see the positive impact these modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly buses will bring to Preston’s public transport network in the months and years ahead.
