🚌 Service Update – Changes from Week Commencing 3 November 2025

We’d like to let you know that some changes will be coming to our bus services following the School Half Term break. These adjustments are being made to help improve reliability and better match passenger needs.

We’re making a few evening timetable improvements to better serve you during the evenings. From Monday 3 November 2025, the following services will be updated:

🟧 Service 43 - Click here for Timetables

  • Monday to Saturday evening journeys will be retimed

  • All evening journeys will now extend through to Royal Preston Hospital

  • All journeys will also follow the normal route around Cottom once the roadworks will have finished.  

🟥 Service 44 - Click here for Timetables

  • Additional evening journeys introduced (Mon–Sat)

  • All evening journeys will now extend to Cottam

  • All journeys will also follow the normal route around Cottom once the roadworks will have finished.  

Pink Square plain emoji Service 48 - Click here for Timetables

  • New late evening journeys (Mon–Sat)

  • These journeys will operate between Preston and Royal Preston Hospital only
