Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our team, working on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles. This role involves supporting both external customers and maintaining our internal company fleet.
Training & Development Opportunities
- MOT Tester qualification (if not already held)
- Hybrid and EV training
- Progression into HGV maintenance
Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Perform major mechanical work including cambelts, clutches, gearboxes, and engine repairs/replacements
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
- Conduct MOT testing (Class 4, 5, and 7) where qualified
- Complete job cards accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
Essential:
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Own tools
Desirable:
- MOT Tester Licence (Class 4/5/7)
