Multi-Site Maintenance Operative

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, proactive Multi-Site Maintenance Operative to support the upkeep and presentation of multiple sites across Eccles, Bolton, and Preston. This is a hands-on role ideal for a skilled handy person who takes pride in maintaining high standards. You will play a key role in ensuring all locations remain clean, safe, and visually appealing for both customers and staff.

Locations candidate will cover:

• Preston Bus Depot and Bus Station
• Bolton Bus Depot and Interchange
• Eccles Bus Depot
• Additional rental and office properties within these areas

Working Hours:

40 Hours per week Flexibility required to meet business needs

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance in occupied properties
• Perform plumbing tasks (taps, traps, toilets, minor leaks)
• Complete carpentry work (doors, locks, architraves, minor joinery)
• Undertake patch plastering, painting, and decorating
• Replace lights, sockets, and carry out minor non-certifiable electrical work
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard
• Proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues before escalation
• Conduct grounds maintenance, including weeding and tidying outdoor areas
• Ensure all sites are consistently presented to a high standard including cleaning when required Involvement within any building projects
• Report any maintenance concerns promptly

Full UK Driving Licence (required)

• Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar role
• Multi-skilled with a practical, problem-solving approach
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Strong communication skills with a professional manner when interacting with tenants
• Full UK driving licence (required)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
