Road Closure

Between 21:00 and 05:00 on Monday the 13^th January to Thursday, 16^th January 2025; or, until completion of the works within this period

Preston, Edith Rigby Way will be closed to allow road improvement works to take place

During the closure, Service 43 from Royal Preston Hospital will divert from

William Young Way onto Tabley Lane, Tag Lane,Tom Benson Way, Cottam Way to the roundabout at Lea Endowed School, then will return to resume route

Return journey Reverse route

The bus stops on William Young Way, at Saddle Inn Services will not be served

Up Holland, Crawford Road

Road Closure

 Between 09:30 and 15:00 on Monday 13^th January 2025; or, until completion of the works within this period

Up Holland, Crawford Road will be closed to allow essential utility works to take place

During the closure, Service 312 will proceed from Ormskirk Road in Up Holland to Orrell, Billinge and Crank via Dingle Road, right at the roundabout onto Grove Road which then becomes Parliament Street. At the traffic lights turn left into School Lane and that becomes Orrell Road. At the traffic light junction in Orrell turn right onto Moor Road. Continue to the end and at the roundabout turn left onto Up Holland Road. Continue to the end then turn right onto Main Street through Billinge until you come to a roundabout then go straight on, onto Rainford Road. Keep  left on Rainford road and it will become Gores lane. Turn left onto Back Lane, and follow the road round and it becomes Red Cat Lane. At the Red Cat pub turn right onto Higher Lane to resume route and serve Rainford.

Return journey Reverse route of above All bus stops on Tower Hill Road, Pimbo Lane,

Crawford Road and Hyde's Brow will not be served by this service

Brynning Lane Closure

From 08:00 on Monday the 13^th of January to 17:00 on Tuesday the 14^th of January 2025, Bryning Lane will be closed from Carr lane for a section to allow work to be carried out.

As such service 76 will have to divert using Lytham Road, Station Road, Mythop Road, Saltcoates Road, Moss side lane and Ribby Road inbound and outbound.

This is the usual diversion.

Abbott Brow

Road Closure for safe Demolition works to be carried out

Further to the urgent closure at Mellor, Abbott Brow, a Temporary Traffic Road Order has been submitted to continue the works until Monday, 9^th September 2024 or, until the completion of the works whichever is sooner

Service 25A will proceed from Blackburn to Mellor (Mellor Lane), then will continue along this road up to Mellor Brook (Feilden Arms bus stops) when will turn around to continue the return route to Blackburn Abbott Brow (25A) and Bay Horse bus stops (25A) will not be served
