Traffic Light upgrade Deepdale Road
21st January to 29th January 2026
From the 21st of January 2026, LCC are upgrading the traffic lights at the junction of Deepdale Road and Ribbleton Lane. This will cause some disruption to services 6,8 19, 19A and school services.
From Sunday the 25th January, until Thursday the 29th January 2026 this junction will be closed nightly from 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
During this closure services 6, 8, 19 and 19A (RPH) will have to divert.
Outbound
Services exit the bus station as normal onto Church Street. Turn left onto Ring way to the traffic light junction at The Holiday Inn. Turn right onto North Road and continue up the A6 Garstang Road to the junction of Blackpool Road. Turn right onto Blackpool Road and services 6, 19 and 19A can then turn left onto Tom Finney way to continue normal route.
Service 8 will have to continue along Blackpool Road and turn left onto Ribbleton lane to continue normal Route.

The reverse of the above.
