The University has a number of sites around the town. Most of them are very close to the town centre.
All the main buildings have regular services passing them going to a wide area of the town

Service 31 to Savick via Fylde Road, Brook Street and Lane Ends (The nearest stop is at the bus turning circle
on Savick Way with a 5 minute walk in a northerly direction along a footpath through the park to the Arena)
Orbit 88A and 88C Circular route which terminates at the Bus Station and operates in both directions linking the Bus Station,
Brookfield, Longsands, ASDA, Sherwood, Royal Preston Hospital, Black Bull Lane, Cadley Causeway, Tag Lane,
Tanterton, Cottam, Larches, Ashton, Morrisons and the Rail Station with the Sports Arena. (The nearest stop is on
Cottam Way with a 5 minute walk in a southerly direction along a footpath through the park to the Arena)

 

Services to the Livesey House Buildings
(nearest stop the Dog & Partridge on Friargate)

All the above services that go past the Students Union, the Harris Buildings, Harrington Buildings and to
the Library and Learning Resources buildings use the bus stop at the Dog & Partridge on Friargate

Discounted travel available from September 2010 

The Preston Student bus pass, which is only available for students and staff, attending the University of Central Lanancashire or Preston College offers unlimited bus travel on Preston Bus services anytime, any day or anywhere on all Preston Bus operated services.
Passes can be purchased from the TRAVEL INFORMATION OFFICE on Preston Bus Station (opposite gate 30) or Head Office, Deepdale Road bus depot.  Tickets are priced per semester to ease the initial cost & give you the convenience once purchased.

In the rare event you lose your valuable ticket, you should contact customer.services@prestonbus.co.uk with a crime reference or lost property reference number from the police. A charge of £25 will be made for a replacement, only one replacement in one academic year. To travel using your college/unirider, you’ll need to have a current college or university ID Card, as they are only valid and accepted on board when you show your Student ID.
