
The Portway and Hartington Road Park & Ride Service, situated close to Preston Docks, starts at 0730 Monday to Friday and 0900 on Saturday. The Service operates every 6 minutes from the Portway Bus Shelter and stops on Fishergate, adjacent to the Fishergate Shopping Centre, and Lune Street for the St Georges Shopping Centre. The last bus leaves Portway for Preston at 1754. Return journeys commence from Lune Street every 6/7 minutes and do not stop other than at the Park & Ride Terminus. The last bus leaves at 1853.
Park & Ride Fares

Return Fare from the Park & Ride to the Preston City Centre is £2.50 per person before 0930 (Monday-Friday).

After 0930 and all day Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays the return fares is only £1.20 per person.

Aged 60+ or disabled and live in England. Free travel after 0930 on Mondays to Fridays and at all times during the weekend or Bank Holiday. Before 0930 (Monday - Friday) you pay normal adult return fare.

A Family Ticket is also available after 09:30 on Mondays to Fridays and all day Saturday, Sundays and Bank Holidays at the cost of £3.00 (£5.00 ticket available for before 09:30 on Mondays to Fridays) which allows up to 4 people to travel together on the one return ticket.

Children fares are at a flat rate of 60p return.

Park & Ride Saverstrips which are sold at the Walton-le-Dale P&R office give 10 return trips for the price of 9. Tickets than can be used before 09:30 on Mondays to Friday cost £22.50 and those for travel at any other time cost £ 10.80.

Easiday tickets which give unlimited travelon any Preston Bus service including the P&R services are sold by the bus driver for £3

Easiweek, Easimonth and Easi3 (3 month) unlimited travel tickets for adults, students and children can also be used on the service. For any trips made on the P&R service before 09:30 on Mondays to Fridays using the adult or the student ticket a supplement of 50p is made per journey. For full details please see our Tickets Page.

Easipark unlimited travel 7 day tickets sold by the bus driver at £11.00 before 09:30 or £6.00 after 09:30 or any time on Saturday, Sundays or Bank Holidays. The tickets can be used on both the Portway and the Walton-le-Dale P&R services. The £11.00 ticket (but not the £6.00 one) also gives unlimited travel on any Preston Bus service.

FREE TRAVEL within the City Centre (area bounded by the Rail Station, the Bus Station and to the north the junction of Friargate and Walker Street) on Preston Bus services for users of the Park & Ride service. Buses link the various points every few minutes.
