Walton-le-Dale Park & Ride

Walton-le-Dale: Capitol Centre, Walton-le-Dale, South Ribble, PR5 4AR

The Walton-le-Dale Park & Ride car park is situated next to the Capitol Centre & Vue Cinema, just off the A6 Bamber Bridge Bypass which leads directly to the M65. It offers convenient links from the M6 (South) at Junction 29 and M61 (Manchester) at Junction 9. Access is easy from Leyland and Lostock Hall areas too.

1 Road Closure: Judges Procession 4th October
Birley Street and Part of Church Street will be closed for the Judges Procession on Tuesday 4th October 2016. The closures will take place between 0930-1000 and between 1045-1130.

A number of services will divert at these times:
13, 75, 80, 89 will exit the bus station and turn RIGHT onto Lancaster Road, then Ringway, Corporation St and back to normal route at the railway station.

6/6A, 8, 16, 19, 112, 280 will exit the bus station via Church Row, then normal route on Church Street.

Park & Ride service 1: Normal route to Manchester road, then RIGHT onto Church St, Pole St, Lord’s Walk, into the bus station. Returning via Church Row, then Church street and normal route.

Bus stops NOT served during the closures:
Jacson St (Park & Ride 1, board at bus station)
Stands P, N, M Lancaster Road (6/6A, 8, 16, 19)
Church St stand J (112), Waterstones Stand F (13)
Fishergate, Boots (75, 80, 89)
